I really don't IE

as in Internet Explorer for a browser... this site looks all wonky. The right side is waaaayyyy down at the bottom.

Please use Firefox. Site looks so great using Firefox.

Can any of you wonderful tech guys figure out what is wrong with the template code?

Pretty please? so I can get back to writing about golf instead of bugging my friend about it. She has no clue either as she didn't touch the whatevers that control this white box thing.

Sigh. I really want this fixed.

Hey Musey:

There is a special how to section in blogger for Mozilla users which answers alkot of Qs.

Great to have you back!

I would also suggest opera. Its the fastest browser out there, and has a ton of great features as well.

I ran into the same problems with blogger. You can't beat the price, but when I started adding more cool design, content and images blogger started displaying horribly wrong. I got sick of how slow it was too when you're publishing and when you are loading.

I eventually bailed and went to WordPress. Wow what a better setup. And it seems to display better on all browsers.

Check it out: http://www.hookedongolfblog.com

Best of luck.

Additionally, I can vouch for the reliability and user-friendliness of Typepad.

I really like Firefox. I got it when EI was hijacked by the spyware Common Hijacker and nothing I have found short of a disk format will get rid of it.

As a web designer, I am familiar with the issues you are facing with the layout an browser capabilities. While your site looks good in my version of IE, different versions can display differently. If you want to email me a screenshot of what you see in IE, I can probably take a look at the code and help figure it out for you.

Pretty soon we'll all be using Firefox.

Thought I'd pass along that I put together a pretty comprehensive list of golf blogs including yours at www.golfSLO.com.

Also, make sure to check out the U.S. Open's Blog this weekend at www.usopen.com/blog/.

Thanks for all the comments and offers for help.

The browser issue is definitely with IE... apparently if you use the 800x600 or whatever instead of the 1024x768 thingie this page looks goofy with the posts running over and the sidebar going to the bottom.

anyway I am back using dial-up until I can get a new laptop.

hugs to all of you!!!
